Where 1877 comes from.
1877 comes from Kingston's coordinates, roughly 18 degrees north, 77 degrees west. It is where we started. It is not the limit of what we do.

Remittances built houses. The next decade builds businesses.
Remittances are one of the largest and steadiest flows of money into many economies. In Jamaica alone they reached US$3.49 billion in 2025 (Bank of Jamaica).
Very little of it backs small businesses, because there is no trusted view of which ones are ready. People abroad are willing; the facts are missing.
We build that view from each business's own records, and let its diaspora act on it. Information and matchmaking only.
