Readiness engine
In development

A grade you can argue with, because you can see how it was made.

The readiness engine turns a business's own records into an A to F grade with every factor explained. Information only.

01 / Six factors

Six weighted factors, one explained grade.

Financial health 30Founder quality 20Market opportunity 15Compliance and governance 15Technology readiness 10Collateral and assets 10
30% / Financial health

Financial health

02 / The grades

A plain scale from A to F.

A

Ready
A long, verified record, full compliance and steady trading.

B

Nearly ready
Consistent records and steady sales, with small gaps to close.

C

Getting there
Trading with basic records; filing and record-keeping need work.

D

Early
Records are new or incomplete.

F

Not enough to grade yet
Too few records to form a fair view.

Every grade describes readiness in plain terms. It never predicts returns and it is not a credit rating.

03 / Reasoning shown

Every grade writes out its reasons.

What is holding it back

Market: two buyers make up most sales8 / 15
Assets: key machinery on a short lease6 / 10
What would move this grade up: more buyers, and a longer lease on the machinery.

The business sees its own grade and the reasons first, before anyone else, and decides who else sees it.

Every grade lists the records and factor weights that produced it, and what would change it.

04 / Governance

Built to be checked.

Explained

Every grade can be explained factor by factor.

A person reviews

A person reviews a grade before it is shown to anyone else, and any business can ask for a person to review its grade, give its view and challenge it. This follows UK and Jamaican data protection rules on automated decisions.

A full record

Every grade can be reconstructed from the records and rules that produced it.

Tested for fairness

We test grades regularly for unfair patterns across sectors and parishes.

Grades are information, not advice, a credit rating or a recommendation.

05 / Built to travel

Starting with Jamaica. The method travels.

The engine is built first on Jamaican records and compliance: GCT, payroll filings and the Tax Compliance Certificate. The six-factor method itself works in any country. A new market needs a compliance pack and a local partner, not a new engine.
