02 / What partners can do

Tools for running a programme.

Track a cohort

See cohort activity and progress in aggregate, and individual businesses that share with you.

Refer businesses in and out

Take referrals from community partners and refer businesses on to other programmes and support services.

See readiness and formalisation

Follow progress up the formalisation ladder, the export readiness ladder and the readiness grade.

Report to funders and ministries

Reports built from real records, not self-reported estimates.

03 / Insight

Understanding growth from the ground up.

Business support often relies on occasional surveys. Consented, anonymised records show where businesses get stuck, what they spend on and how long formalisation takes.

We help agencies, governments and NGOs understand market trends and business growth using that anonymised data. Custom anonymised reports are available for programmes and researchers.

The rule of 10. Anonymised figures never identify a business or a person, and we never report a figure drawn from fewer than 10 businesses.

04 / Data principles

Consent first.

  1. Businesses own their records

Records are used to run Operate for the business, to build its readiness grade, and in anonymised form to improve our engine and produce insight.

  2. Business-level data only with consent

A partner sees a named business's records only when that business switches sharing on. It can switch it off at any time, and sharing stops from then on.

  3. Aggregates by default

Standard programme views show anonymised cohort figures.

  4. Access is logged

We keep a record of who accessed which records and when.

  5. We never sell personal data

Anonymised figures never draw on fewer than 10 businesses.
