How it works

From a shop counter to a diaspora shortlist, in four steps.

How a business's records become a grade with reasons, and how the diaspora can register interest. We never hold money or give advice.

Step 01

A business runs on Operate.

Sales at the register, invoices, payroll and filings, recorded on the owner's phone. Operate works with no signal and syncs when the connection comes back.

  • Records cash and card sales at the counter
  • Prepares figures for GCT and payroll filings (PAYE, NIS, NHT, Education Tax, HEART)
  • Free for businesses. We never sell personal data.

Step 02

Records become a readiness grade.

The readiness engine scores six weighted factors and writes out its reasons. It never gives a bare score.

Financial health 30, Founder quality 20, Market opportunity 15, Compliance and governance 15, Technology readiness 10, Collateral and assets 10.

A person reviews a grade before it is shown to anyone else.

Step 03

The diaspora sees verified businesses, and the reasoning.

People abroad can browse businesses by sector, parish and grade. Each listing shows trading history, compliance standing and why the grade was given.

Information and matchmaking only. Listings never include forecasts or target returns.

Withdraw interest
Step 04

Interest is registered, with 48 hours to reconsider.

An expression of interest tells a business you would like to hear more. It is not an investment, a commitment to pay or advice. Every expression of interest has a 48-hour cooling-off period, set by us, during which you can withdraw it.

1877 Capital never holds client money. If a diaspora member and a business decide to go further, any transaction is handled by a licensed partner under its own terms.
