Is this an investment platform?
No. 1877 Capital provides information and matchmaking only. We do not hold client money, arrange deals or give advice. If you and a business decide to go further, a licensed partner handles it under its own terms.
Do I need Jamaican heritage?
No. Anyone who wants to back businesses in the countries we cover is welcome. Jamaica is our first market.
Which countries can I join from?
The waitlist is open to people in the UK, US and Canada first. Other countries will follow, subject to local rules.
Who decides the grade?
Our readiness engine proposes a grade from six weighted factors, and a person reviews it before anyone else sees it. The business can ask for a review.
Can a business pay for a better grade?
No. Grades cannot be bought or sponsored. Operate is free for businesses.
When does the platform open?
We'll tell the waitlist first. We don't publish launch dates we can't promise.
