48 hours to change your mind.
An expression of interest tells a business you would like to hear more. It is not an investment, a commitment to pay or advice. Every expression of interest has a 48-hour cooling-off period, set by us, during which you can withdraw it.
We never hold client money.
If a diaspora member and a business decide to go further, any transaction is handled by a licensed partner under its own terms. 1877 Capital is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and does not carry out regulated activities.
Explained, and reviewed by a person.
Where we use AI, it explains and summarises. It does not advise or recommend.
Grades are information, not advice, a credit rating or a recommendation. Every grade shows its reasons, a person reviews it before anyone else sees it, and a business can ask for a person to review it again. How grades work.
Your data, under UK and Jamaican law.
We follow UK GDPR and Jamaica's Data Protection Act 2020. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, reference C2008200.
Our standard. We never sell personal data. We never share a business's records with anyone the business has not chosen, except in the cases set out in our privacy notice or where the law requires it.
Anonymised insight. Anonymised figures never identify a business or a person, and we never report a figure drawn from fewer than 10 businesses.
This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies and loads no tracking scripts.
